Allison Stabley
Specializing in Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation divisions
Head trainer Allison Stabley grew up with a passion for horses, always finding ways to stay at the barn much longer than needed. Cultivating a boarding facility allows her to indulge in her passions and forever stay in the barn.
Ally grew up riding ponies of all kinds, through the division ponies and IEA, Ally got all the experiences that allowed her to develop a resilience and work ethic that we can all envy.
Her first job out of school was a working student position for FEI rider Brooke Kemper, where she remained for three years. Ally learned all the ins and outs of high level hunter/jumper competitions, while also learning an immense amount about the highest level of care you could possibly administer, allowing her to teach others the same level of care.
Ally has shown success at the 1.25 level, but schools her main mount 1.35 at home, taking him from an anxious, unconfident horse, to a power-house of a horse through her unmatched methods of conditioning and care to detail. Ally has recently also turned her other 1.20 mount into an extremely successful derby partner, who has proven to hold his own against experienced hunters.
When teaching, Ally prioritizes communication between all parties, between the trainer, the client, and the horse. She believes each party needs to be well informed and confident in order to produce the best possible outcome, with the least amount of stress.
She offers both private and group lessons, as well as professional rides at an affordable price point.
Coaching and training at shows
We take advantage of the indoor climate-controlled facility in Ohio over the winters to show our horses. We compete in some of the nation’s top competitions throughout the spring and summer and finish the year off at indoor finals in the fall.
